FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20TH– SOUND TIGERS 3, HARTFORD 0

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers started off the weekend in style, with a 3-0 shutout victory on the road against the archrival Wolf Pack. Two of the three Sound Tigers goals came on the power play, while Pierre-Marc Bouchard added his first marker as a Sound Tiger. Neither team scored over the first 32-plus minutes of the game, but Mike Halmo took a backdoor pass from Anders Lee and put it past Wolf Pack goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris. Bouchard's goal came later in the second period while Lee added a goal of his own in the third to make it 3-0. Anders Nilson stopped all 33 Hartford shots for this first shutout of the season.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21ST – MANCHESTER 2, SOUND TIGERS 1

The Sound Tigers fell behind by two goals in Saturday's game against Manchester and fell just short of a third-period comeback. For the second straight game, it took more than half the game for the first goal to be scored. Brandon Kozun followed up his own shot and put the rebound past Nilsson for the opening goal of the contest. Jordan Weal added one of his own early in the third. Scooter Vaughan scored his first American Hockey League goal a little later, and though it appeared as if Justin Johnson had tied the game with less than five minutes left, the goal was waved off for goaltender interference.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22ND – SOUND TIGERS 4, ALBANY 3

Dallas Jackson scored a goal with just over 1:30 left to break a 3-3 tie and give the Sound Tigers a 4-3 win over Albany Sunday afternoon. Harri Pesonen scored the game's opening goal for the Devils, but John Persson, who was in his first game back since returning from injury, tied the game in the second period. After a Scott Timmins goal made it 2-1, Alan Quine and Halmo added goals for the Sound Tigers to give them the lead. Mike Hoeffel tied the score midway through the third, but Jackson's late goal proved to be the difference.

Furthermore, the Pink Rink jersey silent auction will continue through the second intermission of Thursday’s game.
