The 3rd Annual Sound Tigers 5K, benefiting The Hundred Club of Connecticut and Tuesday’s Children, will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2017. The race will begin and end at the Webster Bank Arena, and run through beautiful Seaside Park.

Those who register prior to March 1 pay just $30, registrations throughout the month of March will cost $35 and those who register on race day will pay $40. Registration for the Kids Fun Run is just $25. All participants will receive a t-shirt, a chip-timed bib, tickets to the Sound Tigers game on April 8th against the Providence Bruins, and much more!

The Kids Fun Run will be taking place before the 5K. Storm, the Sound Tigers mascot, will be on hand to run and help cheer on all kids who participate. There will be refreshments and entertainment available for all participants in the Kids Fun Run and 5K. All attendee’s will be able to stay and watch local First Responder Hockey Teams compete in the 5th Annual First Responders Tournament after the completion of the 5K.

WHO BENEFITS: Net proceeds of the race will benefit The Hundred Club of Connecticut and Tuesday’s Children.

The Hundred Club of Connecticut is a charitable, non-profit, tax exempt organization which provides financial assistance to families of police officers, correction officers and firefighters who have died in the line of duty. The club consists of over 2400 members from all walks of life who are committed to this objective.

Tuesday’s Children works on the front lines of unimaginable tragedies, providing personalized support and a safe “landing place” to traumatized, grief-stricken children, families and communities left reeling from terrorism or traumatic loss. Tuesday’s Children’s work begins when the emergency response ends – when the true, life-altering impact of the violence sets in. Tuesday’s Children remain long after other aid organizations and the media have gone. This is our promise to those we serve. Tuesday’s Children’s proven, long-term approach to helping family members and communities recover was forged in the aftermath of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Tuesday’s Children’s programs enable our service population to, over time, heal, recover and ultimately thrive.

    • $35 from March 1 through March 31 at 11:59 p.m.

PACKET PICKUP:  The above items will be available for pickup at Webster Bank Arena on Thursday, March 30 from noon to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 31 from noon to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 1 beginning at 7:30 a.m. Teams will be able to coordinate separate packet pick-ups if necessary.
