Islanders Loan 12 Players to Bridgeport

The New York Islanders have reduced their training camp roster to 31 players.

The following players have been loaned to the Sound Tigers: Sebastian Aho (D), Kyle Burroughs (D - pictured), Michael Dal Colle (LW), Tanner Fritz (RW), Ross Johnston (LW), Kane Lafranchise (D), Eamon McAdam (G), Kyle Schempp (C), John Stevens (C), Devon Toews (D), Mitchell Vande Sompel (D) and Parker Wotherspoon (D).

Six other players were released from their professional tryout contracts: Casey Bailey (RW), Scott Eansor (LW), Jeff Kubiak (C), Ben Holmstrom (C), Travis St. Denis (C) and Yannick Turcotte (LW).

The Islanders also placed the following players on waivers: Christopher Gibson (G), Kristers Gudlevskis (G), Seth Helgeson (D) and Connor Jones (C).

Thirty-one players remain on the Islanders training camp roster, including 18 forwards, nine defensemen and four goalies. The Sound Tigers will announce their training camp roster tomorrow afternoon. Click here for the Sound Tigers training camp schedule.
