The Bridgeport Sound Tigers will take on the Hershey Bears in round one of the Calder Cup Playoffs.  After finishing fifth in the Atlantic Division with a record of 38-32-4-6 for 86 points, the Sound Tigers will now cross over to the East Division for a semi-final matchup with the defending Calder Cup Champions.

The Sound Tigers finished the regular season with two more points than the fourth Norfolk Admirals of the East Division, so due to the uneven amount of teams in each division, the Sound Tigers crossed over into the East and took the last spot. 

The first two games of the series will take place at the Giant Center in Hershey before shifting back to Bridgeport Arena at Harbor Yard for Game 3, Saturday at 7 p.m. and then Sunday for Game 4 at 3 p.m.
