BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (July 14, 2011) – The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have released their schedule of opponents for the upcoming 2011-12 season today.

The Sound Tigers will face all 14 other teams in the Eastern Conference in the 2011-12 campaign and 30 of their 76 games will be against Northeast Division foes, including 10 games against the in-state rival Connecticut Whale.

Brent Thompson’s squad will also face St. John’s four times next season as the Sound Tigers will make their first regular season trip to the Maritimes since 2008 when they faced the Binghamton Senators at Mile One Center. The Sound Tigers do not face a Western Conference team this season.

Listed below is a divisional and home/away breakdown of games and opponents for the 2011-12 regular season. The AHL’s full 2011-12 regular season schedule will be released in early August.
