BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Feb. 9, 2013) – The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced tonight’s game against the Portland Pirates has been postponed due to inclement weather. A make-up date for tonight’s game will be announced at a later time.

The Sound Tigers have also announced that tickets for tonight’s game will be honored at any Sound Tigers home game for the remainder of the 2012-13 season.

“Due to the travel ban put in place by Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy, at the urging of the City of Bridgeport, and keeping the best interests of our fans, players, and employees in mind, we are compelled to reschedule tonight’s game,” Sound Tigers President Howard Saffan said. “We expect conditions to improve in time for tomorrow’s game vs. Worcester, and we look forward to seeing our fans at Webster Bank Arena to cheer on the Sound Tigers tomorrow afternoon.”
