Following the conclusion of a three-game road trip in Worcester Friday night, the Sound Tigers will play their first home game in nearly two weeks Saturday night. They’ll take on the Norfolk Admirals, who the Sound Tigers defeated 4-3 in a shootout at home back on October 6th, at 7 p.m. Riley Wetmore, Andrey Pedan and Joey Diamond all scored in that contest, while Ryan Strome and John Persson added shootout markers for the victory.
Strome will look to stay hot this weekend, as he continues to impress in his rookie season. His goal against Binghamton is his only one of the season, but he added two assists on Wendesday to bring his team-leading total to seven. Mike Halmo has also played well of late, scoring all four of his points in the last three games.
Sound Tigers fans attending Saturday’s game are asked to bring donations of new or gently used coats. The team will also be accepting grocery items including canned green beans, corn and peas, canned cranberry sauce, gravy, and stuffing mixes (no croutons). All donations will be used to help the Bridgeport Rescue Mission and the Great ThanksGiving Project.
Tickets for Saturday's game vs. Norfolk are available at the Webster Bank Arena Click It or Ticket Box Office, TicketMaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
