FRIDAY, JANUARY 17TH – SENATORS 6, SOUND TIGERS 2

The Sound Tigers opened up their three-in-three weekend with a loss to the Binghamton Senators Friday night, by a final score of 6-2. Anders Lee scored his team-leading 16th goal while Mike Halmo added a marker, as well. Ryan Strome, playing his first game with the Sound Tigers since being loaned from the Islanders, assisted on both Sound Tigers goals. The game was the final meeting between the Senators and Sound Tigers this season. 

SATURDAY, JANUARY 18TH – BEARS 5, SOUND TIGERS 3

Following the loss to Binghamton the Sound Tigers lost to the Hershey Bears Saturday night by a final score of 5-3. Riley Wetmore, Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Mike Keenan all had goals for the Sound Tigers, who trailed by one before an empty-netter made it a two-goal game late in the third. Kenny Reiter was in net for the Sound Tigers and made 17 saves on the night.
It was the first time in three games against Hershey that the Sound Tigers have lost in regulation.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 19TH - SOUND TIGERS 5, WOLF PACK 1

For the second straight week, the Sound Tigers closed out a three-in-three weekend with a home win against Hartford. In a 5-1 victory, John Persson lit the lamp—and also added two assists—while Mike Halmo, Mike Cornell, Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Chris Langkow chipped in with goals of their own. Parker Milner made 31 saves for his third win of the season.

The Sound Tigers play their third straight weekend of three games in three days beginning Friday against the Portland Pirates. From there, they'll travel to Springfield for a game against the Falcons before hosting the Syracuse Crunch Sunday evening. The next Sound Tigers promotional night is Feb. 1 against Springfield when the Sound Tigers host the Souper Bowl of Caring. Feb. 9 against Adirondack will be Hockey and Heels Night presented by Massage Envy.
