The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that Nick Larson has agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way (AHL/ECHL) deal.
Larson, 23, was selected by the Calgary Flames in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2008 National Hockey League Draft. He played four years at the University of Notre Dame, scoring 47 points (25 goals, 22 assists) in 152 games for the Fighting Irish. Following his senior campaign last season, the Apple Valley, MN, native played five games for the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League.
Larson will report to the team when the Sound Tigers open up training camp on Sept. 23.
