Reiter, 25, earns his first AHL stint of the season after being
assigned to Fort Wayne prior to the start of the 2012-13 campaign. The
Pittsburgh, PA native currently leads the ECHL with a .973 save
percentage and a 0.83 goals against average, and boasts a 1-0-1 record
with the Komets over the course of three games. Reiter made his pro
debut with the Sound Tigers last season, making 26 saves in a 3-2 loss
at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Apr. 14, 2012.
Prior to turning pro, Reiter spent three seasons at the University of
Minnesota-Duluth and led the Bulldogs to the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey
Championship during the 2010-11 season.
The Sound Tigers return to action this weekend with three road contests
before returning to Webster Bank Arena for home games against
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Hershey on Nov. 3 and 4. For information on
