BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Dec. 3, 2012)
– The New York Islanders announced today that forward Jason Clark has
been reassigned from the Sound Tigers to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the
ECHL.
Clark, 20, has
appeared in four games with the Sound Tigers during his first
professional season. The Eden Prairie, MN native has recorded two
assists and four penalty minutes in those four contests.
Prior to turning
pro, the 6’2, 185-pound forward played two seasons at the University of
Wisconsin. Clark was drafted by the New York Islanders in the third
round (82nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
The Sound Tigers
return to action this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. when they face the
in-state rival Connecticut Whale at the XL Center. The Sound Tigers
next home game is Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3:00 p.m. when they play host to
