For the third straight year, the Sound Tigers will start their season on the road. They will play in Hartford against the Wolf Pack on Oct. 6, game-time is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Sound Tigers home opener is scheduled for Oct. 12 against the Norfolk Admirals. The game will feature new player introductions and a brand new opening video.

The Sound Tigers will host their second annual Kids Opening Day on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. when the Hershey Bears skate into town. Kids can expect mascots from the local area to attend, guest public address duties for three lucky fans, giveaways, and an opportunity, following the game, for each child to score a goal on the Sound Tigers ice.

The team's "Cool Fun 101" game, which stresses the importance of young kids receiving a quality education partnered with hockey, is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. against the Worcester Sharks. All students who attend will receive a booklet with Sound Tiger questions pertaining to geography, math and other school subjects.

The rivalry between the Sound Tigers and the Wolf Pack will once again have its intensity as the teams will skate 10 times against each other. The Arena at Harbor Yard will play host to five Interstate 95 rivalry games between the two teams this season. The Wolf Pack will pay their first visit to Bridgeport on Friday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. The following Sound Tigers home games against their Connecticut rival are set for Saturday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17 at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 30 at 4 p.m., and concluding the season with a home-and-home series with the second half in Bridgeport on Sunday, April 13 at 4 p.m.
