The Islanders and New Jersey Devils will meet up for a pre-season game on September 29 at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm. The arena is the home of the Islanders' AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

This will be the third season the Islanders are hosting a pre-season game in Bridgeport. The Islanders and Devils played last September and the Boston Bruins came in for an exhibition game in 2002. These games have become extremely popular with Islanders fans, many whom take the fun late-afternoon ride en masse on the Port Jefferson Ferry for the game.
