CAREER NOTES: Led all Sound Tigers defensemen in goals (9) and co-led team defensemen in points (29) last season... Selected to represent Bridgeport at the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic in Utica, NY, but was unable to attend due to his first NHL recall... Made his AHL and North American debut on 10/7/17 at Binghamton... Scored his first North American goal, which stood as the game-winner, on 10/13/17 at Charlotte... Became the first Sound Tigers defenseman to ever score a hat trick with his first career three-goal performance on 11/5/17 at Providence... It was also the first time Bridgeport ever had a hat trick against Providence... Recalled by the Islanders for the first time on 12/28/17... Made his NHL debut on 12/31/17 at Colorado... Scored his first NHL goal on 1/7/18 against New Jersey... Set professional career highs in goals (10), assists (20), points (30), and game-winning goals (5) in 2016-17 during his fourth full year in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL)... Led Skelleftea AIK defensemen and ranked third in the SHL in points... Helped Skelleftea to two consecutive SHL silver medals in 2015 and 2016... Played 13 playoff games in 2013-14 and helped Skelleftea win the SHL championship...
