CAREER NOTES: Played a career-high 68 AHL games last season... Played four games with the Islanders in 2016-17, including his NHL debut on 4/2/17 at Buffalo, in which he registered two shots and a plus-1 rating... Received his first NHL deal on 2/22/17 by signing a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders for the remainder of the 2016-17 season... Scored a shorthanded goal in his 100th pro game on 10/21/16 at Lehigh Valley... Initially signed to a PTO with Bridgeport on 10/8/15... Made his Sound Tigers debut on 10/25/15 at St. John's, scoring the game-deciding goal in a shootout... Notched three goals in 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs with Oklahoma City... Made his pro debut with Oklahoma City on 4/5/14 against Charlotte... Served as an alternate captain with Quinnipiac for two seasons (2012-14)...
